These pages describe how price alerts work. They do not tell you to buy, sell, or hold.
- How to set crypto price alerts that stay quiet
Cooldowns, quiet hours, and a daily cap are different controls. Here is what published crypto alert products actually do with each one.
- What counts as an unusual crypto move?
A fixed percent uses one bar for every coin. A volatility-adjusted alert uses that coin's own recent spread, and the screen shows today's percent.
- How to read a crypto alert receipt
A receipt is the price 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, and 7 days after an alert. The median summarizes those later prices. It is a record, not a rating.
- TradingView, exchange alerts, and a dedicated alert app
TradingView, Robinhood, Kraken Pro, and Cryptocurrency Alerting: prices, alert caps, and quiet controls from pages opened on 11 October 2026.
- Set up crypto alerts in Telegram
Open a private Telegram chat yourself, send a test, and keep the alert short. Length, group, and broadcast limits are from Telegram's own docs.
- Funding rates and open interest, for spot traders
Funding is a payment between perpetual longs and shorts. Open interest counts contracts still open. A spot trade does not pay that funding.
- Cooldowns, quiet hours, and the daily limit
A cooldown waits on one alert after it fires. Quiet hours pause sending on a clock. The daily limit counts alerts sent today.
- What a morning brief contains
A morning brief is one message a day. It lists alerts that fired and 24-hour receipts that came in. Nothing is sent when both counts are zero.
- What a volume spike is
A volume spike compares recent trading with that coin's own 20-day average. The window, the multiple, and a $10,000 floor are part of the check.
- What the preview shows before you save
The preview replays an alert over the last 30 days of stored prices. It counts fires and marks a chart. It saves nothing and skips the price afterward.
