How to set a BNB price alert

A BNB price alert is a condition on the price of BNB. When a check finds the condition met, a message can go to your phone or your inbox. It does not place an order, and no money moves with it.

Any dollar figure below is an example. It is not a quote from the feed.

What a price alert is

Each check reads the latest BNB price. One alert is stored when the condition is met, the rule is armed, and the wait has ended. Quiet hours and the daily limit can keep the message back. The alert stays on your list either way.

What tends to move BNB

BNB removes coins in two ways. The quarterly Auto-Burn follows a public formula based on price and on blocks produced. The BNB Chain blog posts the result. This article does not name a date or an amount for the next one. In the sources checked on October 28, 2026, the blog had not posted either.

On July 15, 2026 the blog posted the 36th Auto-Burn: 1,615,827.795 BNB removed, with a remaining total supply of 133,166,127.91 BNB in the post at 10:35 UTC. On October 19, 2026 it posted the 37th: 1,646,196.44 BNB removed, with a remaining total supply of 131,512,085 BNB at 10:05 UTC. That 36th post names a published goal of 100 million BNB. A price alert cannot fire from the post itself.

BEP-95 burns a portion of gas on each block. A July 15, 2026 recap calls it a portion of gas fees and says roughly 291,000 BNB had been removed that way since launch, as of that release. The price check does not read a block.

BNB is the coin of the BNB Chain network. Coinbase listed BNB-USD as online on October 11, 2026. This article does not state a US access rule for Binance's own exchange. Funding-rate and open-interest alerts are on paid plans, which open later.

A volume spike defaults to 3 times the 20-day average and needs at least $10,000 of trading in the window. What a volume spike is is that rule. When the next Auto-Burn is posted, the post still does not send the alert. A 24-hour unusual-move rule can sit on through that day.

Three ways to define "the price moved"

A level: price above or price below

You type a price. Say a level of $600, as an example.

Price above fires when the highest of the latest price and the candle highs in the crossing window is at or above that level. Price below uses the lows. A minute that started before the rule was saved, turned on, armed again, or finished its wait is left out. The latest price still counts. Level alerts and the crossing price explains a print already back across the line.

A percent move inside a window

You type a percent, a direction (up, down, or either), and a window of 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours. The check compares the latest price with the reference at the start of that window.

A move that is large for BNB lately

Unusual move compares the window with how much BNB has been moving. The bar is never under 0.5%, and the fired alert stores the bar it used. What counts as an unusual move is the comparison. The next Auto-Burn has no date here, so the bar follows BNB.

What happens after a level alert fires

Once BNB is past a level, the condition stays true, so the rule disarms. The default wait is 1 hour. It arms again when the latest price is back through the re-arm band. The default band is 1% of the level, shown as its own level. It may arm again during the wait. It does not fire during the wait.

A percent move, an unusual move, or a volume spike arms again under half its threshold, or after a full window. An unusual move waits 4 hours by default. The other two wait 1 hour. Quiet hours record the alert and pause delivery. Only a price level sends once when they end, and only if the price is still across the level. The daily limit defaults to 8 messages a day. You can set 1 to 30. The first alert past it can send one notice. Cooldowns, quiet hours, and the daily limit separates the controls.

Where the alert arrives

Phone notifications and email are on. On an iPhone or iPad, add the site to the Home Screen and turn phone alerts on from that icon. A Safari tab does not show them. Android and desktop ask in the open browser. Email stays off until the address is confirmed. Crypto price alerts on your phone includes Focus.

Checks run about every 5 minutes on Free, about every minute on Trader, and about every 15 seconds on Pro (How often alerts are checked). A look that starts too late is skipped.

Check it before you rely on it

Send a test to the phone or the inbox you turned on. It walks delivery, not a move in BNB, and it does not count toward the daily limit.

The preview counts fires over the last 30 days and sends nothing. What the preview shows before you save. It walks every stored minute, so a short percent move can show there and stay quiet on a Free look about 5 minutes apart.

Other places to set one

An exchange app alerts on that venue's BNB price. A chart site keeps a trigger log, which is not the later price at 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, and 7 days. TradingView, exchange alerts, and a dedicated alert app compares those pages.

FAQ

Does the quarterly Auto-Burn send a BNB alert by itself?

No. The burn is a blog post of a formula result. The alert fires only when your level, percent, unusual-move, or volume condition is met.

Does the per-block gas burn have a calendar date?

No. BEP-95 removes a portion of gas on each block. The price check does not read a block. The roughly 291,000 BNB figure is as of the July 15, 2026 release, not a live total.

What keeps a BNB level from messaging all afternoon?

The rule stays disarmed until the price comes back through the re-arm band. A window rule waits for the move to fall under half its threshold, or for the window to pass. Quiet hours and the daily limit then cap delivery.

Before you save

Pick a level, a percent in a window, a move that is large for BNB lately, or a volume spike for trading size. This article has no burn date to put them on. Turn on phone, email, or both, then send a test and read the preview. Terminal offers these rules, delivery, the test, and the preview. Price alerts are on the Free plan. Plans lists the limits. The product describes what the price did. It is not investment advice.
