How often alerts are checked
A check is one look at one alert on one coin. The plan sets how often that look is promised. There is also a gap between looks. That gap can be shorter than the promise, so a move can be seen before the full promised interval has passed. The pricing page names the promise. This page names both.
What "checked every 1 minute" means
The promise for this schedule is 1 minute. We look every 30 seconds, which is sooner than that promise. A price older than 1 minute is stale on this schedule. The check skips that coin. Nothing fires on the old price.
A check uses the price at that moment. It does not average the minute. The scheduler starts the look 2 seconds after the scheduled time.
The pricing page still says 1 minute for Pro until shorter checks are listed. We check Pro every 15 seconds.
Each plan
- Free. Check interval 5 minutes. We look every 5 minutes. A price older than 10 minutes is left out. It is on the pricing page.
- Trader. Check interval 1 minute. We look every 30 seconds. A price older than 1 minute is left out. It is on the pricing page.
- Pro. Check interval 15 seconds. We look every 15 seconds. A price older than 30 seconds is left out. It is on the pricing page.
- Community. Check interval 1 minute. We look every 30 seconds. A price older than 1 minute is left out. It is not on the pricing page yet.
The check interval is how often a look is promised. The look interval is how often we run the check. Stale after is the oldest price that plan will use. The same rule applies to every plan, with that plan's own limit.
Missed looks are not replayed. A level that is still crossed after a gap can fire on the next look. A cross that came and went during the gap is not rebuilt.
