How to set a Dogecoin price alert
A Dogecoin price alert is a condition on the price of Dogecoin (DOGE). When a check finds it met, a message can go to your phone or your inbox. It reports the check. It does not place an order, and it does not move money.
A dollar figure below is an example, not a live quote. Issuance, and the lack of a halving date, are on What moves Dogecoin.
What a price alert is
A check reads the latest DOGE price. It does not read a block height, a post, or a television mention. One alert is stored when the condition is met, the rule is armed, and the wait has ended. A message held back still sits on your list. There is no halving morning to arm a rule for.
What tends to move Dogecoin
Since block 600,000 in 2015, every block pays 10,000 DOGE. The reward does not halve, and there is no maximum supply. At one block a minute, a year mints about 5.26 billion DOGE.
On October 11, 2026 the supply page reported 156,277,012,865 DOGE and that same 10,000 DOGE reward. A block-stats page showed the reward plus fees, 1,352 blocks in the prior 24 hours, and height 6,410,684 at 11:57 UTC.
Dogecoin is merge-mined with Litecoin, so they share hashrate. A CoinStats note that day described Dogecoin's share of the joint miner budget, using that day's prices. It is a security fact, not a price. A GitHub discussion has floated a cut from 10,000 DOGE to 1,000. As of that day it was a proposal, with no activation height in the sources. A price alert cannot fire because a block paid its reward.
Sharp days have lined up with posts, television, product mentions, and moves led by Bitcoin. The chain schedules none of them. A 2026 legal summary says Dogecoin ETF filings moved onto generic listing standards. This article does not claim a US spot product is trading.
Attention days often show in trading size. A volume spike defaults to 3 times the 20-day average and needs at least $10,000 of trading in the window. What a volume spike is is that rule. Funding-rate and open-interest alerts are on paid plans, which open later.
Three ways to define "the price moved"
A level: price above or price below
You type a price. Say a level of $0.20, as an example.
Price above fires when the highest of the latest price and the candle highs in the crossing window is at or above that level. Price below uses the lows. Minutes from before the rule armed, armed again, or finished its wait are left out. The latest price still counts. Level alerts and the crossing price explains a print already back across the line. A level does not know there is no halving.
A percent move inside a window
You type a percent, a direction (up, down, or either), and a window of 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours. The check compares the latest price with the reference at the start of that window. Attention days are not one size, and an hour is a different rule from a day. Daily counts stay on the coin page.
A move that is large for Dogecoin lately
Unusual move compares the window with how much DOGE has been moving. A quiet stretch lowers the bar. A wide stretch raises it. A floor blocks a tiny wobble, and the fired alert stores the bar. What counts as an unusual move is the comparison. Loud days here have no date, so the bar has to follow DOGE itself.
What happens after a level alert fires
A crossed level stays true, so the rule disarms. The default wait is 1 hour. It arms again when the latest price is back through a band on the near side. The default band is 1% of the level, shown as its own level. It may arm again during the wait, and it fires again only when armed, out of the wait, and met. On a long afternoon that disarm is what stops the repeat.
A percent move, an unusual move, or a volume spike arms again under half its threshold, or after a full window. An unusual move waits 4 hours by default. The other two wait 1 hour. Quiet hours record the alert and pause delivery. Only a price level sends once when they end, and only if the price is still across the level. The daily limit defaults to 8 messages a day. You can set 1 to 30. The first alert past it can send one notice. Cooldowns, quiet hours, and the daily limit separates the controls.
Where the alert arrives
Phone notifications and email are on. On an iPhone or iPad, add the site to the Home Screen and turn phone alerts on from that icon. A Safari tab does not show them. Android and desktop ask in the open browser. Email stays off until the address is confirmed. Crypto price alerts on your phone includes Focus.
Checks run about every 5 minutes on Free, about every minute on Trader, and about every 15 seconds on Pro (How often alerts are checked).
Check it before you rely on it
Send a test to the phone or inbox you turned on. It walks delivery, not a market move, and it does not count toward the daily limit.
The preview counts fires over the last 30 days and sends nothing. What the preview shows before you save. It checks every stored minute, so a short percent move can show there and stay quiet on a Free look about 5 minutes apart.
Other places to set one
An exchange app alerts on that venue's DOGE price. It has no halving date to add. A chart site keeps a trigger log, which is not the later price at 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, and 7 days. TradingView, exchange alerts, and a dedicated alert app compares those pages.
FAQ
Is there a Dogecoin halving date to set an alert against?
No. The reward has been 10,000 DOGE since block 600,000 in 2015. It does not halve. No activation height for a change was in the sources checked on October 11, 2026.
Can I get a Dogecoin price alert on my phone without an exchange app?
Yes. Allow notifications in the browser. On an iPhone or iPad, add the site to the Home Screen and open that icon first. Email stays off until the address is confirmed.
What keeps a Dogecoin level from messaging all afternoon?
The rule stays disarmed until the price comes back through the re-arm band. A window rule waits for the move to fall under half its threshold, or for the window to pass. Quiet hours and the daily limit then cap delivery.
