ChatGPT
ChatGPT can read your alerts and propose changes through Terminal's MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets an AI assistant call tools on a server you choose. Read MCP for the tools and what they cost.
Connect
Add Terminal to ChatGPT as a connector, with the address https://terminal.tokensmarketcap.com/mcp. Use this address. Sign-in works only on this host.
ChatGPT does not send API keys. It signs in to your Terminal account instead. Sign in when the app asks.
Terminal's page then asks whether to allow the app to use your Terminal account, and lists what it may do. "Read alerts, rules and receipts" is always on. "Create and change alerts" lets ChatGPT propose changes for you to confirm. "Subscribe to services on the exchange" shows only if the exchange is open to your account. It starts unticked, because it spends credits. Untick anything you do not want, then press Allow.
What to ask
- "List my Terminal alerts."
- "What did my alerts record today?"
- "How often would SOL falling 5% in 1 hour have been met in the last 30 days?" This uses
preview_rule, which can spend credits. - "Turn on quiet hours from 23:00 to 07:00." ChatGPT proposes the change and shows you a summary. Nothing changes until you agree.
Each tool call after sign-in counts as one API call for your account. Read Quotas for the monthly calls on each plan.
Stop access
Open the API keys page in Settings. Under Connected apps, revoke ChatGPT. Its next call is refused.

Terminal reports market events for conditions you set. It does not tell you to buy, sell, or hold, and it does not place trades.
