What is a receipt, and how long do you keep it?
A receipt is the later price after an alert. We store the price at the alert, then at 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, and 7 days. Until that time, the slot says not in yet.
Later prices come from the exchange feed, the same feed as the price at the alert. Each price shows its source. Prices from CoinDesk Data are built, opening after Terminal's CoinDesk Data key is in place.
Open the alert from Alerts. The list is headed Every alert from this rule. Each time it fired stays on that list, with its receipt. The ones that went the other way stay on the list. We do not drop them.
Free keeps this history for 7 days. Trader, Pro and Community keep it for 1 year.
The public Scoreboard shows the same kind of count by rule type, with no account names and no ranking of coins. What is the Scoreboard, and what does a shared alert page show? describes that page.
A receipt shows the price Terminal recorded at each time. It does not show that an alert was right or useful. It does not say what the price does next, and it does not show that a message reached you on time. This is not investment advice. The methodology page gives the exact rules.
A payment receipt is a different email. That one is the record of a subscription charge.
