How do quiet hours and the daily limit work?
Three controls keep the volume down. They are on Alerts and quiet hours.
Quiet hours pause messages on a schedule in your time zone. The preset is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. It is off until you turn it on. We still record the alert. A one-time price alert can send once when quiet hours end, if the price is still across your level. Other alerts do not flush a pile of messages at the end.
The daily message limit defaults to 8. You can set it from 1 to 30. When it is reached, we send one notice and then stop delivery until the limit resets. Alerts still show on Today and can be included in the next brief.
Each alert also has its own wait after it fires. Mute stops messages for one rule and keeps recording. Turn off stops the rule. Snooze 1 hour pauses delivery for that rule for one hour.
You can group rule alerts into a brief instead of getting each one immediately. The morning brief is separate. We skip the morning brief when nothing fired and no receipt completed.
Grouping is on Trader, Pro and Community. On Free, that switch stays off and says On Trader, Pro and Community. See plans sits next to it.
