How do I get alerts on my phone?
Open Alerts and quiet hours. Under Where messages go, choose Turn on phone alerts. The browser asks permission to show notifications.
If you block it, the screen says Phone alerts are blocked. This browser did not allow notifications.
You can allow them in the browser settings, or use email.
On an iPhone or iPad, add Terminal to your Home Screen first. The screen says To get phone alerts, add Terminal to your Home Screen. Inside another app's browser? Open this page in Safari first. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. Open Terminal from the new icon and sign in. In Settings, open Alerts and quiet hours, then tap Turn on phone alerts.
When phone alerts are on, the row says On for this browser. Turn them on in one browser at a time. Turning them on in one browser does not turn them on in another.
Choose Send a test. The test is not a market move. It shows that the path works.
