What is the morning brief?
The morning brief is one message a day. It lists alerts that fired since the previous brief, and 24-hour receipts that were recorded in that time. We skip it when nothing fired and no receipt completed. It is not a recommendation.
It starts on, at 8:00 AM in your time zone. To change it:
- Open Alerts and quiet hours.
- Under Briefs, use the Morning brief switch.
- Set Brief time. The choices are every half hour.
Every plan includes the morning brief, including Free.
Grouping is separate. The switch is Group rule alerts into a brief, and it is on Trader, Pro and Community. When grouping is on, each alert still shows on Today, and the brief is the message instead of one message per alert. On Free the switch says On Trader, Pro and Community, next to See plans.
If the brief time is inside quiet hours and nothing is waiting from grouping, we skip that brief. We do not send it when quiet hours end. If grouping is holding alerts, the brief waits and goes out when quiet hours end.
