Is this investment advice, and where do prices come from?
No. This is not investment advice. Terminal describes what the price did. It does not tell you to buy, sell, or hold. It is not a broker, an exchange, or an advisor. Alerts do not include a trade button. The Not investment advice notice says this in full.
Spot prices come from Coinbase public market data. If Coinbase has no price, we use Kraken public market data. We do not fill a gap with zero. The screen says unavailable. Where prices come from gives the exact rules.
The data sources notice names the sources and says what you may do with the numbers. It also names CoinDesk Data. Prices from CoinDesk Data are built, opening after Terminal's CoinDesk Data key is in place.
Why-notes are written by a model from facts we stored. Code supplies the numbers. A note can still be wrong in its wording. The receipt is there so you can see the later price yourself.
The public Scoreboard shows a count and a median by rule type. It is a record, not a rating of a coin or a person.
Terminal is a product of Virtus Blockchain Labs. Seller name and address are shown before you pay.
